Advanced Class Discussion: Dekan
Descendants of the Blue Dragon Armenes, the Dekans are humanoids capable of shapeshifting into a Dragon at will.

Overview
Having a dragon’s lineage, Dekans are a proud race, looking down at the other races that were created by the lower gods. Inside the game, they are a combination of races, so to speak, able to become warriors, mages, and tankers as they wish. They even share the Dhan’s capability of entering Assassination mode.
The Dekan Dragon Fighter
Specialization is required as early as the Dekan’s starting class, due to its diverse range of skills. To help you see the whole picture, we will list down the skills according to the possible archetypes that a Dekan can become:
Fighter Dekan (Stat Focus on STRENGTH)
Separation: Enter Separation Mode. 25% less weapon damage, 10% less physical defense, 60% boost in attack speed.
Dragon’s Power: 10% boost in Melee attack force.
Tanker / Healer Dekan (Stat Focus on VITALITY)
Taunt: Causes a targeted monster to attack you.
Forefoot Swing: Lose 20% HP and deal 75% of the used HP as damage. (Regular Zhen Mode)
Health Funnel: Lose 10% HP and heal 200% of that amount to your target.
Mage Dekan (Stat Focus on INTELLIGENCE)
Health Drain: Absorb target’s HP at a rate of 300% of your Magic Attack.
Breath: Deal 500% of your Magic Attack in damage to your target.
With their dragon lineage granting them magical abilities, Dekans also have a few unique spells:
Health to Mana: Lose 10% HP and gain mana points equal to 75% of the amount lost.
Mana to Health: Lose 10% mana and gain HP equal to 150% of the amount lost.
Used properly, a Dekan can get himself healed up without using potions and in a shorter span of time due to his skills having a shorter cooldown than a potion.

Level 50 Advanced Classes: Dragon Knight and Dragon Sage
The Dragon Knight and Dragon Sage are now more specialized in their skill and spell selection, although they still have skills that can be seen in other classes. We will first discuss the similarities for ease of discussion.
Dragon Knight and Sage Similarities
Both classes allow the Dekan to change into Dragon form through the Evolve skill.
Both classes use the Zhen as their primary weapon.
Both classes have the following skills (among others):
Critical Immunity: Blocks 100 points of damage from critical attacks received.
Karma: Revive dead characters, restoring some HP, MP and lost EXP.
Blue Defense: Damage drops by 5 when attacked.
Fast/Moving Shadow: Increase attack speed by 50%.
Dragon Knight and Sage Differences
The Dragon Knight’s Dragon Form comes with different passive buffs than the Dragon Sage’s. Comparison below:
Dragon Knight Evolve:
1. Absorbs opponent’s health and mana (passive).
2. Deal 10% more damage in your attacks.
3. Increase Critical Hit chance.
4. Increase attack speed by 5% (passive).
5. Chance to stun your opponent with a regular attack (passive).
Dragon Sage Evolve:
1. Absorbs opponent’s health (passive).
2. Deal 10 damage for every tick to opponents within 15 meters.
3. 25% chance of broadening attack range, dealing 60% reduced damage to targets within 10 meters (passive).
4. 100 defense added (passive).
5. 10% mobility boost.
In terms of skills, Dragon Knights share some of the Dhan and Human skillsets, while Dragon Sages share some of the Dark Elf and Elven skillsets:
Dragon Knight Skills:
1. Mist: Vanish for 1 minute, lose 50% mobility.
2. Forced Lock: Increase critical damage by 60% of your Strength and Dexterity.
3. Toxic Potion: Prohibits your opponent from using regular potions for 10 seconds.
Dragon Sage Skills:
1. Imprint: Detect players/monsters in Vanish mode.
2. Rapid Lock: Increase critical damage by 60% of your Intelligence and Dexterity.
3. Mana Guard: 400% of your Intelligence is applied towards absorbing received damage for 60 seconds.
4. Double Murder: Doubles your Kill Count when you kill a monster.

Further, let us compare their attack skillsets:
Dragon Knight Attacks:
1. Soul Divider: 100% increase in damage dealt, stuns for 3 seconds. (Separation Zhen Mode)
2. Penetrate: Ignore opponent’s defense and deal 50% more damage. Stuns for 3 seconds. (Regular Zhen Mode)
Dragon Sage Attacks:
1. Heavy Wave: 50% increase in damage dealt, ignores target’s defense. (Separation Zhen Mode)
2. Death Flow: 100% boost in damage dealt, stuns for 3 seconds. (Regular Zhen Mode)
3. Full Blown Attack: Ignore opponent’s defense and deal 50% more damage. (Regular Zhen Mode)
Building your Dekan Character
Dekans are complicated characters and can confuse new players with their wide array of skills, but the key to building your Dekan is to stick to a certain purpose.
Stats
If you choose to be a warrior Dekan, then focus on STRENGTH. 3 STRENGTH and 1 VITALITY every level should be enough. Levelling this build should be similar to how a Human Knight would (that is, quite easy / simple).
If you choose to be a tanker-warrior, then focus on VITALITY. 3 VITALITY and 1 STRENGTH every level should be enough. Levelling this build should be relatively easy once you get Forefoot Swing, which deals damage according to how much HP you have (you can get this skill by the time you finish the in-game tutorial).
If you choose to be a mage, then focus on INTELLIGENCE. 3 INTELLIGENCE and 1 VITALITY every level should be enough. You might have some difficulty in levelling this build because before level 50, you gain no benefit in increasing INTELLIGENCE besides dealing damage with just two skills (your regular attacks with your Zhen will not become stronger). When you become a Dragon Sage with the Rapid Lock ability (see above) will you become more viable in combat. However, just like the DEXTERITY Human Knight, you would need equipment that would boost your critical hit rate to feel the benefits with your regular attacks.

Final Word
Remember that there will always be a counter to your build. To date, there has been no “ultimate” / “unbeatable” character build found for any class.
Even if you are a tanker-warrior Dekan with high HP, a Dhan can just swap your HP and MP, and you can be killed in a few attacks. Spellcasters can also hurt you badly due to your low resist.
Mage Dekans are the opposite of the above, although they are weak against classes that directly damage their HP (which is little to begin with), such as Dhans and Humans.

wow ha metamorphosis!!!!
Think twice before choosing to go INT build on a DK Sage :) End game, a Pure Vit Sage is hard to kill. As for the Knight, only a few people choose this advanced class over sage in International, but there is a creative build for Knights that makes them as dangerous as Dhans, especially to low HP classes like HE and E – nasty surprise, really…

Are dekan sage are powerful?? But I think tanker types are more stronger?? what is the advantage of a dekan sage?? do they have ability to one hit enemy like other characters?

STR -affect melee ATK’s and physical def
Psy -affect over all magic def and mana regen
INT -affect your max mana and magic ATK
VIT -affect your max hit points and physical def
DEX -affect your range ATK and accuracy
AGI -affect your evasion ability
by studying those effects be more aware of your class build

Dekan Builds
depende yan sa class n pipiliin mo when you reach 50.
nasa sau kung fighteror sage.
Sa knights:
3 str 1 vit: Solid damage pero mejo low def
2 str 2 vit: good damage good def
1 str 3 vit: High def pero low damage dun
tpos every 5 levels be sure iadd nyo sa dex
example:

as for sage nmn gnyan din.
kaso ung str palitan ng int.
tpos every 5 levels nmn sa psyche ang add kpalit ng dex.

by the way i want to know if the regular zhen and sepa zhen skill conflict while in evolution mode (unable to use sepa zhen skills while in dragon form)applies here in PH server…cause thats the main problem in skill build combo in Rohan US

for me the best pa din ang dex guardians and also the rangers. CS ng guardians asa ka pa mabuhay. murderer shot ng rangers masakit din lalo na pag marami na napatay. never tried dhans before but in international, lagi sila dedo sa dex guardians. but maybe imma try to create one pero drain knight cguro.
more stats pls….la ba agi kc db pag nka agi ka eh mlkas ung evasion mo?….tama ba un kpag 3 agi tpos 1 vit per lvl ka?…bka kc weak un kc wla damage…thanks sa stat suggestion…

Dont be fooled by skills na may nakasulat na magic attack (skills for dekan mages)
Other skills says that you can deal a certain amount of damage through your magic attack (for example Breath: Deal 500% of your Magic Attack in damage to your target), pag ginamit mo na ung skill, hindi tumutugma ung damage mo sa nakadescribe sa skill.
INTELLIGENCE-based pala ung damage not MAGIC ATTACK.
Trust me, you’ll just get disappointed.

I hope na gawing tama ng LEVELUP (RohanPH), either i-adjust nila ung damage according talaga sa Magic Attack, or i-correct nila ung nakasulat sa description nung skill na Intelligence-based yung skill na yun.

depende rin nmn yan sa build mo and how u use your char.
every character has its own uniqueness lhat yan mllkas.
at llkas p yan kung mganda ang gamit mo at mganda ang build mo.
pero i would go for DEKAN.

Actually the Blogger is true that is the builds for DK nothing more nothing less! it is a simple build all players that i talk to in Int’l got that build. I personally use 3 STR 1 VIT for a Higher Damage Rohan Intl set their Mobs A bit hard to Kill so they prefer that build.
Now about the Agi build you can actually do that make sure that you know when to place your stats.
I have talk to someone and he actually place agi on his avatar when he reach lvl 20 he put all his points to agi and he did that on increments of 5.
meaning every 5 levels eg. lvl 5,10,15,20,30…. he put his points on agi and the result is quite impressive. You got a faster attack speed and avoidance.

This way you can use breath VERY effectively and then use that hp drain skill in which will mean you dont need mp to hp just hp to mp and then if you cant kill the mob in those 2 int based attacks, finish the mob off with a couple hits which is where the 2 str comes in handy.
I didn’t like this build.
It’s mainly for if you want to get to 50 fast but i don’t know what you’re going to do with breath since it might be crap later.
for me,kung gus2 nyong mag dragon knight,wag n kaung mag lagay ng separation mode.. trust me guys,kpag D.Knight na kau,you’ll wish na sana nag save n lang kau ng skill points.. kc po d po magagamit ang separation mode skills kapag dragon form kna(which is the main thing about dragon knights)so magsisisi ka lang kpag naglgay ka ng 1 point sa sepa mode at tig 5 points sa nail zhen at sepa slash..as for D.Knight din po,kung str type ka,wag ka na din maglagay ng forefoot swing – mababa ang buhay ng str type tpos babawasan mo pa… one good thing about saving skill points is makakapag level 5 dragon form ka kagad right after you reach the level requirement for the dragon mode skill,which is level 54. in this way,kaya mong mkipagsabayan sa mga kaparty mong nagpa2level sa mga high level mobs.. ok din ung skill ng D.Knights na “penetrate” (parang porno lang noh? LOL!) ito ung skill na ignoring one’s whole defense tpos stun pa ung player. mas msakit ang damage nito kpag naka dragon form ka.. pero xempre guys,nasa inyo pa din ang decision if you would go for this class.. masaya lang kcng mag dekan kc para ka lang nagdodota kpag PVP na… tamang diskarte at timing when it comes to skill usage…. tnx for reading! ^_^
ingat n lang po sa paglalagay ng skill points kc po npakaimportante ng skill points.. minsan kc sa una mo lang mpapakinabangan ung skill n nilagay mo,later part of the game,wala na.. nkakapagsisi lang..
